Meet the club

For our little readers

Who is Storybook Club for?

Children ages 4 and under and their grown-ups in Lake County. Our gatherings bring little readers together through books, play, and simple activities.

What happens at a gathering?

We share a story, enjoy a themed snack, make a simple craft, and leave room for play and hellos. Each month’s book inspires our little adventure.

Does a grown-up need to stay?

Yes! This is a caregiver-and-child gathering. A grown-up stays with their child and joins in throughout the meetup.

Does my child have to sit still?

No sitting-still skills required. Wiggles and breaks are part of toddler life! Little ones can join in as much or as little as they’re ready for, with their grown-up close by.

Planning your visit

When do you meet?

Our first four meetups are on the second Thursday of each month, December 2026 through March 2027, at 9:30 AM Eastern.

Where are the meetups?

Our meetup address is private. Please register before attending; the location is shared directly with registered families so we can plan for everyone who’s joining us.

Do I need to register?

Yes—please sign up before attending. This helps us know how many little readers are coming and plan our snack and craft.

For our first gathering on December 10, use the sign-up form here.

How do I share an allergy or accessibility need?

Use the optional “Anything Else We Should Know?” field on the sign-up form. You can include allergies, accessibility needs, or questions you’d like us to know about while planning.
